This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit lakuina.com or contact us through the website.
Who is responsible
Guillem Gallego, operating as LAKUINA, is the controller for the website and enquiries. Contact: [email protected].
Enquiries
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. These details are stored in our website database and included in an email notification to Guillem so that we can answer you and manage the conversation. Providing them is voluntary, but we need them to receive and respond to a form enquiry.
When you ask about working with us, the basis for handling your enquiry is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Other correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to requests and managing professional relationships. The form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Website security and local features
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. When you submit the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and network signals, including your IP address, to help distinguish people from automated traffic. We use this for our legitimate interest in preventing spam, abuse and disruption. A rotating keyed identifier is used for rate limiting; the enquiry database does not store your raw IP address.
The drawing feature on the Manifesto page may save your temporary drawing in this browser’s local storage so that the feature can restore it. The drawing is not sent to LAKUINA. It is cleared as part of the page’s day/night cycle or when you clear the site’s browser data.
Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect aggregate website usage and performance measurements. This is separate from the contact form. We do not use the form for advertising profiles or decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Service providers and international processing
Our services include Cloudflare for hosting, database storage and security; Resend for email notifications; and Google’s email service for the receiving mailbox. Enquiry information is accessible to Guillem and those providers as needed to run these services.
Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Resend’s Ireland sending region determines the email sending location, not an EU-only storage location. Providers describe their international-transfer safeguards, including applicable adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses, in the documents linked below. You may contact us for further information about the arrangements applicable to your enquiry.

How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept for the time needed to answer and manage the request. The relevant period depends on whether a conversation is still active, whether it leads to agreed work, and whether records are needed for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. When those purposes no longer apply, enquiry records should be deleted or anonymised. The website database and the receiving mailbox are separate records; deletion requests can cover both. We do not describe the database as automatically deleting enquiries after a fixed period.
Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected] with your request. We may need enough information to confirm that the request relates to your data. You may also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
